He's the author of fifty best selling books. When he passed his eleven plus in 1959, he attended High Wycombe Tenichal High School. At thirteen his short story, "The Hades Business" was published on the school magazine. Two years later, he began a class in art. Terry married Lyn Purves at the Congregational Church in Gerrads Cross in October 1968. They had a daughter in 1976 and they named her Rihanna. At the time he had interviewed Peter Bander van Duren he has mentioned he had written a book called "The Carpet People" and whether they could consider publication.
